Kristine joined KAI in February 2005. She has 15 years experience in the life sciences industry in both public accounting and in-house roles. Prior to KAI, Kristine was Vice President, Finance at Exelixis, Inc. During her five years at Exelixis, Kristine built and led a multinational finance organization and was highly involved with the company’s public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnerships, and interactions with Wall Street. During Kristine’s tenure, Exelixis raised over $360 million through equity offerings and debt and acquired four companies. Prior to Exelixis, Kristine was a Senior Manager at the accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP, where she served both emerging growth and multinational companies in the high technology and life sciences fields. In this role, she obtained extensive experience in many areas including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, initial public offerings, in-licensing, collaborations, technical accounting and financial regulatory agency reporting. Kristine is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. with honors from Babson College.
